A real beating heart in the town of Bury.
Filled with enjoyment, lovely people who enjoy life around great food, fab entertainment & a sheer sense of community by taking part in raising funds for numerous local charities. Run by two of the nicest people, namely Stephen & Thomas Howarth. They blend with this community like a warm hug. This pub, the landlords & the Bury community more than deserve to win pub of the month for May 2026 & more.

Relatively new owners who have really brought some charm and style to this once overlooked pub.

They are trying new things and introduced an array of fantastic events and entertainment.

  16. Cob and pen Fareham Best pub in Fareham
Amazing food and can control their live music ! Some pubs have a big problem with causing neighbours issues in Fareham especially land lords who can’t work with neighbours to resolve noise complaints fairly without going to social media ! but the Cob and pen are great at working with their neighbours , other Fareham pubs should take advice from the new ownership of the cob and pen.
