“Cum On Feel The Noize!” Those famous words are set to echo around one of Bournemouth‘s best-loved live music venues this December as SLADY brings the music of glam rock legends Slade to the South Coast.
Billed as the world’s only all-female Slade tribute band, SLADY will take to the stage at The Anvil on Saturday, 5 December, promising an evening packed with huge guitar riffs, outrageous costumes and some of the biggest singalong anthems ever written.
For fans of classic British rock, it’s shaping up to be one of the standout nights of the festive season.
More Than Just a Tribute Band

SLADY isn’t simply a band that plays Slade songs.
The four-piece has built a reputation across the UK for recreating the energy, humour and larger-than-life personality that made Noddy Holder, Dave Hill, Jim Lea and Don Powell household names throughout the 1970s.
Fronted by Gobby Holder, alongside Davina Hill, Jem Lea and Donna Powell, the group cleverly pays homage to the original band, even giving each member a playful stage name inspired by Slade themselves.
Every performance is designed to transport audiences back to the golden age of glam rock, complete with platform boots, glitter, audience interaction and enough infectious energy to have the whole venue singing along.
A Setlist Packed With Classics
Fans can expect hit after hit throughout the evening, including:
- Cum On Feel The Noize
- Mama Weer All Crazee Now
- Gudbuy T’Jane
- Coz I Luv You
- Take Me Bak ‘Ome
- Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me
- Get Down And Get With It
And, with Christmas just around the corner, there could only be one way to finish…
Merry Xmas Everybody.
Few songs capture the festive spirit quite like Slade’s timeless Christmas anthem, making December the perfect time to experience the show.
Why The Anvil Is The Perfect Venue

Hosting the event is The Anvil, one of Bournemouth‘s most respected independent live music venues.
Located on Holdenhurst Road, The Anvil has become a favourite among music lovers thanks to its intimate atmosphere, excellent acoustics and busy calendar of live entertainment.
Unlike larger arenas, The Anvil allows audiences to get right up close to the performers, creating the kind of electric atmosphere that tribute bands thrive on.
Over the years the venue has welcomed everything from touring rock bands and tribute acts to comedy nights, themed events and emerging local artists, helping cement its reputation as one of Dorset’s best places to experience live music.
A Christmas Party With A Difference
Forget the average office Christmas party.
If you’re looking for an evening full of nostalgia, classic rock anthems and a crowd singing every word, SLADY at The Anvil could be exactly what you’re after.
Whether you’ve been a Slade fan for decades or simply love a brilliant live show, expect a night filled with laughter, memories and enough glam rock to leave you shouting one thing all the way home…
