You know when a pub looks good online and you think yeah, we’ll give that a go… then you find out it’s got meerkats?
That’s exactly what’s happened with The Royal Oak in Brockham — and now it’s gone from “we should visit” to “we’re definitely going.”
Set in the Surrey countryside, it already ticks the usual boxes — cosy pub vibes, proper food, and that relaxed village feel. But the fact there are actual meerkats on site? That’s next level.
We haven’t been yet, so we’re not going to pretend we know what it’s like — but we’re heading there soon to do a full, honest feature. Proper review, real verdict, no nonsense.
Because let’s be honest… a pub having meerkats sounds brilliant — but does it actually deliver as a pub?
