The much-loved Gatwick Manor near London Gatwick Airport is set to close its doors permanently, bringing an end to an era for one of the area’s most recognisable pub restaurants.
The Grade II listed country pub, operated by Greene King under its Chef & Brewer collection, confirmed that it closed for good on 16 May 2026. A notice on the official pub website states simply: “We will be permanently closed from the 16th May.”
Set within ten acres of grounds and surrounded by the remnants of an ancient moat, Gatwick Manor has long been a favourite for local residents, business travellers and holidaymakers looking for a final pint or meal before catching a flight from Gatwick.
